Special District Election: Tuesday, May 6, 2025

Frequent calendar

This calendar applies to (refer to Campaign Finance Rule 17):

• Candidates and Candidate Committees whose office appear on the May 6, 2025 Special District Election ballot.
• Issue committees whose issue attempts access to or appears on the May 6, 2025 Special District Election ballot.
• All other active special district committees (political and small donor committees, 527 political organizations, independent expenditure committees) whose candidates or issues attempts access to or appears on the May 6, 2025 Special District Election ballot.

April 15, 2025	April 27, 2024, or June 7, 2024, through April 10, 2025
May 2, 2025	April 11, 2025, through, April 27, 2025
June 10, 2025	April 28, 2025, through June 5, 2025

Infrequent calendar

This calendar applies to (refer to Campaign Finance Rule 17):

• Candidates and Candidate Committees whose office does not appear on the May 6, 2025 Special District Election ballot.
• Issue committees whose issue does not attempt access to or appear on the May 6, 2025 Special District Election ballot.

An annual report must be filed by committees that remain open (i.e., those not yet terminated) no later than the first business day of the month in which the anniversary of the election occurs.

Additional notes

• Special district candidates and special district candidate committees are only required to file disclosure reports when more than $200 in the aggregate is raised or spent.
• Small-Scale Issue Committees only file disclosure reports once they exceed $5,000 in aggregate activity and are then subject to the disclosure requirements of 1-45-108(1.5) and (2), C.R.S.
