Colorado Charitable Gaming Board FAQs

How many members are there?

The Colorado Charitable Gaming Board consists of seven (7) members:

• Three (3) members of the Board are bona fide members of a bingo-raffle licensee that is classified as:
  • a religious organization,
  • a charitable organization,
  • a labor organization,
  • a veterans’ organization,
  • a fraternal organization, or
  • a voluntary firefighter's organization
  • No more than one member will be appointed from each classification.
• One (1) member of the Board is a landlord licensee.
• One (1) member of the Board is a supplier licensee.
• One (1) member of the Board is a registered elector of the state. This person is not employed by or an officer or director of a licensee, does not have a financial interest in any license, and does not have an active part in the conduct of or management of games of chance by any bingo-raffle licensee, and
• One member of the Board must be the Secretary of State’s designee.

How do I ask to be appointed to the Board?

To request appointment to a vacant position on the Board, please fill out the application form for the Colorado Charitable Gaming Board found at the Governor’s website under Boards and Commissions.
